VocalEye at the Arts Club Theatre 2016-17

VocalEye is delighted to return to the Arts Club Theatre for our 7th season of described performances for audience members who are blind and partially sighted.

Season Subscriptions offer the best ticket price and the best seating options, plus plenty of other subscriber perks. Subscriptions are on sale now (single tickets will go on sale August 1, 2016). At the Arts Club STANLEY, the following Sunday matinées:

BASKERVILLE: A SHERLOCK HOLMES MYSTERY, a fast-paced comedy featuring the world-famous detective, described on Sunday, October 2 at 2 pm.

BAKERSFIELD MIST, a dramatic comedy about discovering art in unexpected places, described on Sunday, November 13 at 2 pm.

MARY POPPINS, everyone’s favourite nanny returns in this supercalafragalistic production, described on Sunday, December 18 at 2 pm followed by a Touch Tour (this show is not part of the subscription package, tickets must be purchased separately).

THE AUDIENCE, a royally entertaining peek into the weekly meetings of Her Majesty the Queen, described on Sunday, February 19 at 2 pm.

ANGELS IN AMERICA PART ONE: MILLENIUM APPROACHES, the award-winning epic that tackles love, religion, politics, sexuality, life, death and AIDS in 1980’s America, described on Sunday, April 16 at 2 pm and Wednesday, April 19 at 7:30 pm.

MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins jam together in this smash-hit musical, described on Sunday, June 4 at 2 pm.


At the Arts Club GRANVILLE ISLAND STAGE, the following Tuesdays at 7:30 pm (these performances include a Talk Back with the cast after the show):

THE FLICK, a Pulitzer-prize winning story about changing times and changing film reels, described on Tuesday, October 18 at 7:30 pm.

AVENUE Q, our favourite puppet musical is back and will be described on Tuesday, December 6 at 7:30 pm, followed by a Touch Tour (this show is not part of the subscription package, tickets must be purchased separately).

THE MEN IN WHITE, a cross-national tale of home, brotherhood and cricket, described on Tuesday, February 28 at 7:30 pm.

MOM’S THE WORD 3: NEST ½ EMPTY, new material from the searingly frank and funny Mom’s the Word Collective, described on Tuesday, April 25 at 7:30 pm.

BITTERGIRL: THE MUSICAL, a hilarious journey of getting over getting dumped, described on Tuesday, July 4 at 7:30 pm.
