A troupe of professional actors finds itself in a rehearsal hall working on a new play. To overcome a creative block, they throw out idea after idea, navigating a minefield of artistic freedom and ethical tensions. Inspired by Luigi Pirandello’s Six Characters in Search of an Author, the play dives into conflicts between identity and appropriation, lived experience and performance, and the legitimacy of artistic voice in the face of shifting cultural norms.
