People can donate through CanadaHelps from anywhere in the world. International donations are processed in Canadian dollars, so monthly donation amounts will vary according to the exchange rate. Tax receipts are issued instantly for one-time donations and annually for monthly donations. These tax receipts are deductible on Canadian tax returns only.
