Guest Bio
Conor Wylie is an actor, creator, and director making theatre, film, and video games. His multimedia performance-turned-feature film “K BODY AND MIND” (on which Amy Amantea was a collaborator) won Best Director of a Canadian Feature at the Vancouver Asian Film Festival, and was featured as part of VocalEye’s Almost Live. He co-wrote, cast, and voice directed “1000xRESIST”, a Peabody Award winning indie video game made right here on unceded MST territory, featuring a majority Asian diaspora cast and creative team. He is a member of multimedia collective A Wake of Vultures, artistic associate of Theatre Replacement, and Associate at Playwright’s Theatre Centre. VocalEye audiences might also know him as “Laurie” in the Arts Club Theatre Company’s recent production of “Little Women.” Conor has been fascinated by the practice of audio description since working with Amy and Eileen on “K BODY AND MIND”, and is looking forward to learning more and joining the VocalEye family.
