Almost Live episode #223
In this Almost Live episode, Blind community member and friend of VocalEye, Christine Malec, joins us to share original stories and songs.
We’ll hear her National Federation of the Blind award-winning story, “A Wider Stream”, which transports us to 16th-century France. From there, we’ll settle into an 18th-century Viennese café with Blind composer and musician Maria Theresia Paradis, in Christine’s story “An Afternoon at the Café”. Finally, we’ll journey to a possible distant future in an urban park in Toronto in her story “The Song Garden”.
Along the way, Christine will also share a few original songs, weaving music between these imaginative travels through time and space.
