Presented by the Victoria Disability Resource Centre (VDRC) in conjunction with the UN’s International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

Descriptive tours are offered to visitors with vision loss at 11 am and 12:30 pm by VocalEye describer Rick Waines.

Admission is Free.

“The submissions from local artists have been outstanding yet again,” says David Hosking, Acting Executive Director of the VDRC. “It is apparent that art is a powerful way for individuals to connect with others and with their own truths while working through the challenges of their particular disabilities.  We are very thankful to have the support of the CRD Arts Development Fund as well as support by the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria to allow us to share this amazing art with our community for free.”

One of the featured artists is a blind photographer who has been working with different filters.

Event organizer, Lauren Moline, provides more info in this interview.
