When Brett inherits a family estate, he and his partner, Drew, move to a quiet little tourist town to set up a B&B. But will these big city boys face friction in their new community? With dozens of hilarious characters all portrayed by two actors, it’s a heartfelt comedy about “being out,” skeletons in the closet, and finding a place to call home.

CHARACTERS

There are 2 main characters:

BRETT, an interior designer in his thirties and his partner DREW, a concierge at an upscale hotel also in his thirties.

The remaining 20 characters are played by the same two performers.

Mark Crawford plays BRETT and the following characters:

Lynda, Brett’s mom in her sixties
Steve, Brett’s older brother, about forty
Ray, a real estate agent and friend
Alison, a cafe owner in her thirties
Dustin, Carrie’s sixteen-year-old son
Little Girl, six years old
Sharon, married to Chuck, British
Sylvia, in her seventies and right-wing
An Older Male Voice
and a surprise character

Paul Dunn plays DREW and the following characters:

Reverend, the voice of a Minister
Martin, Brett’s dad in his sixties
Cody, Brett’s nephew is eighteen
Carrie, a real estate agent and friend
Doug, a contractor in his late fifties
Harold, a neighbour is eighty-one
Chris, married to Alison is Irish, about forty
Chuck, married to Sharon, British
Travis, just married to Alexa
And Alexa, just married to Travis

The action takes place in various locations in Toronto and a small town a few hours drive from the city.
