Almost Live episode #212
Highlights from Capture Photography Festival’s 2026 feature exhibition
Experience a described tour of highlights from the 2026 Capture Photography Festival’s public art project.
Sited on buildings, billboards, and public transit stations, this tour includes lens-based artworks spanning the east, west, and central neighbourhoods of Vancouver. Bodies and everyday objects are posed, stretched, connected, and alienated in these images, challenging us to experience ourselves and our surroundings in new ways. By utilizing slow looking through audio description, we can appreciate the deeper meanings and artistic impact of lens-based art.
Host Amy Amantea will be joined by returning guest Sarah Wang, Capture Photography Festival’s TD Assistant Curator of Engagement.
