Building community around the arts
VocalEye has partnered with the Vancouver Culture Lovers Chapter of the Canadian Council of the Blind (CCB) to host social gatherings either before or after selected in-person described events.
Notable Socials are held at a café or restaurant close to the event venue. Some events may include pizza, appetizers, snacks or other refreshments. Cash donations are welcome to help us cover costs and to fund future socials. The hat is passed at the end and participants are welcome to contribute any amount they wish (there is no obligation to donate).
Check the in-person event listings for events that offer Notable Socials and register at least 3 days before the event so we can make reservations. Further details are provided upon registration. Email amy@vocaleye.ca to register.
