Testimonials

I will gladly and frequently pay for an experience that is comparable to everyone else’s, and VocalEye allows me to drop the detective work and enjoy the play just like everyone else. Thanks for all the work you do.

I would like to strongly recommend the services of VocalEye audio descriptive services. Bringing the pleasures of theatre to the visually impaired is a noble calling indeed. The staff embodies courteous service and cooperation and are a true pleasure to work with.

From a purely technical standpoint; their use of FM, as opposed to UHF, VHF or IR, transmitters means the elimination of potential interference with most theatres microphone and communications systems. They require little more accommodation than reasonable proximity to their clients, some isolation and a source of program sound. How could it be easier?

It is a fantastic opportunity for those of us who are blind to continue going to the theater. As a young child when I could see much more I loved going to plays and musicals. As my vision deteriorated I went much less. I enjoyed the music but had to depend on friends and family to break up their own experience of the production by describing parts to me. Can’t wait to get the line up for next season.

The describers are awesome. Their timing is right on, and they always manage to fit the description in between the actors’ lines. Great job! I love the pre-show notes. The description of the theatre, the set, and the costumes. This gives me a chance to absorb that information before the show. It also helps me experience what everyone else in the theatre can see. The links that you sent out via e-mail were also very helpful. I enjoyed the background information and Bio’s as well as the detailed plot. It all adds to my pleasure of the overall theatre experience.

Again, thank you so much for making it possible for me to enjoy the theatre without relying on a sighted friend to whisper details in my ear. Keep up the good work!
